Where does a dream end and a memory begin?
For In the Darkness of Being, a short film by Joey Ohls, we created a series of posters that live in that in-between space. Handmade type and layered imagery echo the film’s dream logic and its quiet search for acceptance. Each poster feels like a fragment — personal, imperfect, and just coming into focus.
The film’s title treatment was drawn by hand — rough, instinctive, and a little unsteady. It wasn’t meant to be polished; it needed to carry the same tension as the film itself, quickly written in the moments after a dream.
